So as you can tell by the crickets chirping over here that I’ve been busy. So lets start with some updates.
I must have started this blog post 100 times lol.
Here’s what’s been going on in my world.
My mother in law came to visit us which was nice since hubby and I got to go out a few times without the little ones. We even enjoyed a nice fancy steak meal together. Well I ordered butter chicken but kept stealing my hubby’s steak. The steak was just amazing the type where you don’t even need a knife to cut it its so tender. We did eat out quite a bit with my mother in law in town so this week no fast food!
Another cool thing I got a fitbit! This thing is amazing. It tracks your sleep it tracks you bmr it’s just a fantastic tool to help you realize if you are eating too much or not being active enough. I got mine at London drugs and it was 99,99$. I decided on the flex but they do offer two other types of fit bits.
Besides being busy raising three young kids, going to the gym and trying to live life to the fullest not much has been going on. Oh wait that’s a lie I had a breakthrough at the gym with my trainer. This lady no longer walks on the treadmill she runs. Yup I’m running at a speed of 4.5 an incline of 2.5 for 45 second burst with a one minute recovery. To an avid runner that’s not a big deal to this mama this is huge. I have anxiety about running in front of people or at the gym but I’m breaking thru my barriers.
I have been in a weird mindset lately where I wish the weight would just fall off by itself and I wouldn’t have any food issues. I wouldn’t think of food I would just be able to eat one meal at a time and not be thinking of the next snack or meal…
Do you ever feel hopeless on this weight loss journey? I have tons of knowledge about weight loss and nutrition but I can’t seem to get it right. I guess I’ll just have to keep getting back on the wagon until it sticks.
