I thought after taking three weeks off from the gym to visit family that running on the treadmill today would be horrible. Well to my surprise I ran harder and faster than I even have before. My trainer was impressed that I haven’t set myself back at all. Im pretty much at the same level as well I left. It felt great to be back in the gym and I’m looking forward to my session tomorrow.
Eating wise I’m going to be switching things up. As most of you know I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I don’t wish IBS on anybody, it can make your life pretty miserable. So after talking with my doctor and my dietician I’ve decided to give the Paleo lifestyle a try. I’m sure it will be a huge adjustment since I am a fan of grains and bread but if it will make me healthier I am willing to try anything. And as much as I love my grains I am in pain as soon as I eat them. I’ve found a few paleo sites and blogs so I look forward to starting this new chapter in my life. The one where I am not constantly in pain and bloated. I’ll keep you all updated once I start the paleo lifestyle.
